Druid Acorn (montage)

Commission for PereAerie on twitter inspired by her main character's class in WoW. I tried to capture as much druid imagery as I could in this one! The moon rune was based off the druid class crest and the inscriptions on the seed were inspired by standing stones we can find ingame. Stag antlers, alluding to Malorne, were also added and of course I had to choose emerald green for the leaves. Overall this was quite the challenging piece, but I'm very happy with the way all the elements come together. 

Hand sculpted with FIMO polymer clay and hand painted with with soft pastels, acrylic paint and a touch of gilder's paste.
